What is TD Ordering?

TD Ordering is a mobile sales and order management solution developed by TechDevs Sdn Bhd. It consists of an Android mobile application and a dedicated AutoCount plugin. The system is designed to allow sales agents to manage customer information, check stock levels, and issue sales documents directly from their mobile devices, with all data synchronized to the AutoCount accounting backend.

The Dashboard gives you a bird’s-eye view of your company’s sales performance the moment you log in.

Time Filters

Toggle between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly views to update the sales graph instantly.

Year-over-Year Comparison

Easily compare total sales for the current year and previous year directly below the graph.

Collection & Outstanding

View Total received amount (Collection), Total Invoices generated, and Total Outstanding amounts that haven't been received yet.

Ranking List

Scroll down to view the Ranking List. Sort by Sales Agent to see Gainers (most sales) and Losers (least sales), or sort by Product to see your best-performing items.

Customer Management

The Customer module allows sales agents to view client profiles, contact them, and instantly generate accounting reports.

TD Ordering App (Customer)

The Customer Overview screen provides a quick summary of total customers by salesperson and their account status:

  • Total Customers: Overall count per salesperson
  • Overdue (Red): Past due accounts requiring immediate action
  • Near Overdue (Yellow): Accounts approaching due date
  • Good Standing (Green): Accounts with no payment issues
  • Suspended: Restricted accounts for compliance or payment reasons

Select a customer from the search list to view their exact Outstanding balance and Contact Details (Phone, Fax, Email, Address).

Stock Details

The Stock Detail section provides key information about inventory items, including:

  • Stock Name: The name of the product or item
  • Barcode: Unique identifier for scanning and tracking
  • Availability: Current stock level indicating whether the item is in stock or low in quantity

 

Selecting a stock item provides access to additional details, including:

  • Detail – View item information and pricing details.
  • UOM Info – Displays unit pricing, price limits, and inventory controls.
  • Stock Balance – Shows current stock quantities and availability.
  • Transaction – Provides a history of stock movements and activities.
  • Up-to-Date Cost – Displays the latest item cost based on recent updates.

Searching Features  

The Search & Filter feature helps users quickly locate stock items and relevant information through:

  • Search Bar – Search for items using names, codes, or keywords.
  • Barcode Scanner – Scan a barcode to instantly locate a specific item.
  • Filters – Narrow search results based on selected criteria to find what you need faster.

Sales Order

Sales Orders can be created directly from mobile devices.

  • Customer selection
  • Item addition
  • Draft saving
  • Submission to backend for posting

 

Backend configuration allows posting as:

  • Sales Order
  • Invoice

This provides operational flexibility depending on company workflow.

 

Viewing & Printing

Tap any existing order in the list to reveal options: View (read-only mode),Preview (generate a PDF report), or Bluetooth Printer (print directly to a thermal printer, provided Bluetooth is enabled).

Cash Sales

The Cash Sales module is nearly identical to Sales Orders but assumes immediate payment is being collected at the time of the transaction.

The AutoCount TD Ordering App lets salesmen create Cash Sales on the spot, no office assistance needed.

  • Add items and enter quantities directly in the app
  • Process Returns and view sales totals in real time
  • Choose payment method: Cash or Bank (with Return Number support)
  • Tap Pay to instantly post the sale to the AutoCount Backend
  • Office staff retrieve and finalize the Cash Sale automatically

 

Cash Sales Daily Summary

  • A special report available in this module that summarizes all cash sales made for the current day, categorized by payment type (Cash, Credit Card, Bank, etc.).

Payment Collection

The Payment module allows sales representatives to record customer collections directly from mobile devices and synchronize them with the accounting system.

Key functions include:

Once posted, an official AR Payment document is generated in AutoCount Accounting, ensuring accurate receivable updates.

Backend Maintenance

Administrators can configure TD ORDER behavior directly inside the AutoCount desktop software via the TD Ordering menu.

Mobile User Access Rights

Assign Sales Agents to users, restrict Location access (e.g., allow a user to only see HQ stock), and define which app pages (like Dashboard) they are permitted to view.

2.Item Min/Max Price Maintenance

Set strict pricing boundaries per debtor type and item code. You can even Export the list to Excel, edit prices in bulk, and paste them back via Clipboard.

3.Item Profile Maintenance

Create profiles to limit which products a specific Sales Agent can see. E.g., assign “Test Profile” to Agent A so they only see Apple iPhones

Posting Options

Decide whether mobile “Sales Orders” sync to AutoCount strictly as Sales Orders or if they bypass and post directly as AutoCount Invoices.
