How to Link AutoCount Cloud Accounting with MyInvois Portal
Introduction
This guide explains how to link AutoCount Cloud Accounting with the LHDN MyInvois Portal for Malaysia e-Invoice submission. You will set up AutoCount as an intermediary and ERP in MyInvois, configure e-Invoice settings in Cloud Accounting, maintain the required tax information, and complete the TIN ownership validation before submitting your first e-Invoice.
Before You Start
Before linking AutoCount Cloud Accounting with MyInvois, make sure the following are ready:
MyTax Account
Make sure you have already registered your MyTax account and can log in successfully.
Company Linked to MyTax
Your company must already be linked to your MyTax profile so you can access the company as an authorised representative.
MyInvois Company Profile
Make sure you can access your company’s profile in the MyInvois Portal. The setup must be performed under the company taxpayer profile, not your personal profile.
AutoCount Cloud Accounting Access
Make sure you can log in to your AutoCount Cloud Accounting account book before starting the e-Invoice setup.
(EN) Video Guide: How to Link AutoCount Cloud Accounting with MyInvois
Set Up MyInvois / MyTax
1. Log in to MyTax and switch to your company profile
Log in to MyTax using your identification details. Before adding the intermediary or ERP, confirm that you are working under the correct company profile.
- Open the MyInvois Portal from MyTax.
- If the portal is showing your personal profile, click Switch Taxpayer.
- Select your company name and switch to the company profile.
- Open the company taxpayer profile by selecting View Taxpayer Profile.
2. Open the Intermediaries section
In the company Taxpayer Profile, scroll to the bottom of the page. Open the Intermediaries section and choose Add Intermediary.
3. Enter the AutoCount intermediary details
Enter AutoCount as the intermediary that is allowed to submit e-Invoices on behalf of your company.
| Field | Production / Live Details |
|---|---|
| TIN | C20239710060 |
| BRN | 200601031841 |
| Name | AUTO COUNT SDN BHD |
For PreProd / Sandbox, use the intermediary name shown for the testing environment instead of the production name. The tutorial uses a sandbox intermediary name while demonstrating the process.
- Enter the TIN, BRN, and intermediary Name.
- Complete the captcha.
- Click the search button, then click Continue.
4. Set the representation period and permissions
Set the period during which AutoCount is allowed to act as the intermediary, then enable the permissions required in the tutorial.
- Set Representation From to the current date.
- Set Representation To to the intended end date. In the tutorial, a long-term date such as 31 December 2030 or 2031 is used.
- Enable all the permissions shown for the intermediary.
- Save / add the intermediary.
5. Register AutoCount Cloud Accounting as the ERP
After the intermediary has been added, return to the company Taxpayer Profile.
- Scroll to the Representatives section.
- Click the ERP tab.
- Click Register ERP.
- Set Client Secret Expiration to 3 Years.
- Enter an ERP name. In the tutorial, you can use AutoCount Cloud Accounting.
- Click Register.
6. Copy and save the Client ID and Client Secrets
After registration, MyInvois displays the ERP credentials. Copy the credentials and keep them somewhere safe before closing the window.
- Copy the Client ID.
- Copy Client Secret 1.
- Copy Client Secret 2.
- Paste all three values into a secure temporary note or credential store so you can use them during AutoCount Cloud Accounting validation.
Configure AutoCount Cloud Accounting
1. Create or open your AutoCount Cloud Accounting company
Log in to AutoCount Cloud Accounting and open the company account book that you want to link.
If you have not created a company yet, the tutorial demonstrates creating a new company for testing:
- Click Create New Company.
- Choose the package you want to use for the trial. The tutorial uses the Lite package for invoicing testing.
- Enter the company name and continue through Next.
- Confirm and open the company.
Note:
If your company account book already exists, skip the company creation steps and open the existing account book instead.
2. Enable the e-Invoice function
Open Settings and go to the e-Invoice / e-Invoicing settings. Enable the e-Invoice function before maintaining the tax information.
- Tick Enable e-Invoice.
- Set the e-Invoice Start Date according to your company implementation date. The tutorial uses examples such as 1 November 2025 or 1 January 2026.
- If your company is allowed to submit consolidated e-Invoices, enable the consolidated e-Invoice option.
- If you are using the relaxation period, enter the end date for the six-month period. If you are not using the relaxation period, set the relaxation date to the same date as the start date, as demonstrated in the tutorial.
- If you need to submit a document that was posted more than three days earlier, enable the option shown in the tutorial so the system uses today's date as the submission date.
- Set the default classification code to 022 - Others when this default is suitable for your transactions.
- If you want validated e-Invoices to be emailed automatically, enable the auto-email option and maintain the company email address.
- Click Save.
After the e-Invoice function is enabled, the Malaysia e-Invoice module becomes available in the system.
3. Update the company profile and company Tax Entity
Open the Company Profile and maintain the company information. The key field for linking to MyInvois is the company Tax Entity.
- Open Company Profile and edit the company information.
- Add the company Tax Entity.
- Choose the appropriate local business / business classification and enter the company name.
- Enter the company TIN.
- Enter the MSIC Code. Enter 00000 if the MSIC code is unknown.
- Enter the address details, including postcode, city, state and country.
- Enter the phone number and email address.
- Save the Tax Entity, then save the Company Profile.
Note:
The logo and other company information shown in the Company Profile are optional for this linking process. The Tax Entity information is the part used for the MyInvois connection and e-Invoice submission.
4. Add a customer and maintain the customer Tax Entity
Create at least one customer with Tax Entity information so you can use the customer in the test invoice.
- Go to Master Data > Customer.
- Click New and enter the customer details.
- Fill in Customer Name.
- Click the + at Customer Code to generate the code.
- At the Tax Entity field, click the + button to add the customer Tax Entity.
- Select Individual and enter the customer's information.
- Use the function to search the TIN by Identity Number and retrieve the TIN from MyInvois.
- Confirm that the retrieved information is correct, then save the Tax Entity and customer.
5. Add a product and check the classification code
Create a product for the test invoice and make sure the correct e-Invoice classification code will be used.
- Go to the product maintenance under Master Data and create a new product.
- Set the product classification code when it is different from the default. The laptop example uses classification code 003.
- If the product falls under the default 022 - Others classification used in your e-Invoice settings, the tutorial indicates that you may rely on the default instead.
- Click Save.
Validate the Link and Submit the e-Invoice
1. Create the test sales invoice
- Go to Sales > Invoice.
- Click New.
- Select the customer that contains the Tax Entity information.
- Add the product created in the previous step.
- Under Document Info, check if Submit E-invoice is tick.
2. Approve the invoice and open the TIN ownership validation link
When you approve the invoice for the first time, the system prompts you to validate the company TIN ownership. This is the point where AutoCount Cloud Accounting is linked to the MyInvois ERP credentials.
- Click Approve on the invoice.
- When the validation message appears, copy the validation link.
- Open a new browser tab and paste the link.
- The Validate TIN Ownership page will open for your company TIN.
3. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret 1
Use the ERP credentials that you saved earlier from the MyInvois Portal.
- Paste the Client ID into the Client ID field.
- Paste Client Secret 1 into the Client Secret field.
- Do not use Client Secret 2 for this validation step.
- Click Submit.
Note:
When the validation is successful, the page confirms that the company TIN ownership has been validated. At this point, AutoCount Cloud Accounting is linked to the MyInvois Portal credentials.
4. Submit the invoice to MyInvois and check the status
Return to AutoCount Cloud Accounting after the TIN ownership validation is successful.
- Open the invoice again.
- Click View from created invoice.
- If you want to submit the invoice, click Submit.
- The status may first show Pending.
- Refresh the document status until it changes to Submitted, then refresh again until the status becomes Valid.
Conclusion
By completing the steps above, your AutoCount Cloud Accounting account is now linked to the MyInvois Portal and ready for e-Invoice submission. You can create invoices, submit them to MyInvois, check the validation status, and print the validated e-Invoice when required.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if AutoCount shows “TIN ownership is not validated”?
Open the TIN ownership validation link provided by AutoCount Cloud Accounting. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret 1 generated when you registered the ERP in MyInvois, then click Submit.
Do I need Client Secret 2 for TIN ownership validation?
No. Based on the setup shown in this guide, you only need the Client ID and Client Secret 1 to complete the TIN ownership validation.

After submitting the invoice, check its e-Invoice Status. You may need to click Refresh while MyInvois processes the submission. Once the status changes to Valid, the e-Invoice has been successfully validated.
